Applications
Product Description
The TEP Series End Suction Pumps are designed to deliver reliable, high-efficiency performance in demanding industrial applications. Built for handling difficult fluids such as pulp, paper stock, and fibrous slurries, these pumps are well-suited for industries including pulp and paper, sugar, food processing, dairy, breweries, and edible oil production.
A key strength of the TEP Series is its ability to manage slurries with consistencies up to 8%, making it ideal for thick, viscous, and solids-laden liquids. The pumps feature a non-clog, semi-open impeller with a bull nose design, ensuring smooth fluid entry and reduced risk of blockage. Additionally, the adjustable impeller-to-wear plate clearance allows operators to maintain optimal hydraulic performance and extend component life. This adjustment is achieved through a simple external shim system, enabling easy and precise maintenance.
The back pull-out design further enhances serviceability by allowing quick inspection and maintenance without disturbing the piping system. Its modular construction, with interchangeable spare parts, reduces downtime and simplifies inventory management. The TEP Series offers flexibility through various material options and sealing arrangements, including standard gland packing and optional mechanical seals. It supports a wide operating range, with flow capacities from 65 to 11,800 GPM, head range from 32 to 310 feet, and power ratings between 10 and 420 HP. Operating speeds include 860, 1150, and 1750 RPM.
