Applications
Product Description
The TEC Series chemical and process pumps are horizontal, end-suction, single-stage pumps engineered for safe, reliable, and efficient operation in demanding industrial environments. Designed in accordance with ASME (ANSI) B73.1 standards, these pumps ensure dimensional consistency, ease of installation, and interchangeability, making them a preferred choice for chemical and process industries.
A defining feature of the TEC Series is its semi-open scallop-cut impeller, which enables efficient handling of low-viscosity fluids containing suspended solids. This non-clog design minimizes blockages while also simplifying cleaning and maintenance, ensuring consistent performance over time. The pumps are built with a robust shaft and bearing arrangement, enhancing durability and operational stability even under challenging conditions. The TEC Series supports a wide operating range, with flow rates from 5 to 860 m³/h and head up to 154.5 meters.
Available in speeds of 1450 and 2900 RPM, and power ratings from 0.55 to 93 kW, these pumps are suitable for diverse applications. They can handle liquid temperatures from -20°C to 140°C, with optional cooling jacket models supporting temperatures up to 260°C. Maintenance is simplified through a back pull-out design, allowing inspection and servicing without disturbing piping. The modular construction reduces spare parts inventory and downtime. Standard gland packing is provided, with optional mechanical seals for enhanced sealing performance. Widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, solvent transfer, and handling corrosive or erosive liquids.
